From a brand-new Australian immersive habitat waiting to be discovered, a young seal pup finding its flippers, a Species that Spark kids trail to explore, and a range of wild kids entertainment for the entire family, there is so much to see and do at Taronga Zoo this Easter, and this is your chance to win tickets for your family!

We’re giving away 10 family passes (2 x children (4-15) and 2 x adults – kids under 4 go free!) to visit the zoo’s newest drawcard!

This Easter will also see the long-awaited return of Taronga’s Wild Ropes Treetops Adventure, which has joined forces with Transformers: Rise of the Beasts for the ultimate wild adventure.

Positioned at the top of zoo, Taronga Zoo is opening a brand-new immersive habitat – Nura Diya Australia, on 6 April 2023. Located on beautiful Cammeraigal Country, Nura Diya Australia, which translates to ‘this Country’ in the Sydney First Language, will give guests the opportunity to immerse themselves amongst native Australian flora and fauna and gain a deeper understanding of the relationship Aboriginal Culture has with Country.

Guests who choose to explore Nura Diya Australia will be able to stroll amongst Kangaroos, come paw to paw with two adorable Dingoes, and adventure up high as they wander a brand-new canopy walk where you can come eye to eye with one of Australia’s most iconic animals – the Koala.

Follow the new Red Energy SPECIES with SPARK Animal Trail to discover some genetically gifted, fantastically fit, energy savvy and crazily clever animals all around the zoo. With an adventure around every corner, the kids will be over the moon when they reach the activity hub on the concert lawns. Parents, soak up the harbour view with your feet up and let the chefs at our new Saltwater Bistro pop-up whip up lunch, whilst the kids test their spark against the best in the animal kingdom on the jumping castle, inflatable obstacle course, get their faces painted and enjoy lots of fun activities. Easter entertainment and activities are on from 10:30am-3pm all holidays long.

Hop around the corner to spot three-month-old Long-nosed Fur Seal pup Kobe as he finds his swimming flippers and makes a splash at Seal Bay. Guests can have an unforgettable time in the splash zone and learn how to help Kobe’s incredible species at three daily Seals for the Wild presentations, powered by Red Energy.

Get a bird’s eye view of the brand-new Nura Diya Australia habitat and test your balance across junior and adult courses.

A great day out at Taronga has the power to protect. Taronga is not-for-profit, so every time you visit, donate, stay, shop or buy a gift, you’re saving wildlife.

  • We are travelling all the way from Perth late in April, it would be great to take my wife and kids to the zoo, I know they will just love it.

  • It’s always a fantastic day out at the zoo and we’d love to check out the new Animal Trail

  • My little monkeys love animals and are so eager to learn and explore. What better place for them to do this other than at Sydney’s best, Taronga Zoo?

  • Our young one has albinism, therefore she’s vision impaired. She’d adore getting close to barricades to see live animals. Last time we took her the only animal she could really see was the gorilla. He as a bronze statue!! A zoo visit would put a huge smile on her face.

  • I haven’t visited the zoo for ages – the kids would love this! Love seeing how they keep upgrading Taronga Zoo and the views are just incredible. Love watching the seal show x

  • My kids have never been to a zoo before but love watching documentaries of animals
