My family deserves a book break so they can be ‘free’ from the limitations that are set on them in everyday life.

We are a book loving family and would be thrilled to recieve this wonderful bookpack to take a break, relax and stimulate our minds with the magic of fiction.

Reading is an adventure for the mind when you haven’t got the dollars to have a physical adventure

No tv, no video games, no phones, no I anything. It’s about time my family remembered what it was like to experience the joy and excitement of reading a book. Painting the landscape in your own mind and giving the characters the life that they envision. That’s childhood.

My family deserves this prize because we’re a very close kind and caring family of three. Me and my two children 5 and six. They are girl oldest and bit youngest, we read all the time and they love reading. My girl often takes her little brother and reads him her school readers, then he sits there and try’s to read as well. I love the imagination and fun and family time that reading books together creates. I would love a prize like this that I can share with them.

My kids have been doing do many things these holidays, some books would be perfect to calm them down!

Books help your mind escape to somewhere new and different and wonderful. They are holidays for the mind.

2014 was all abour hospital visits for the parents…now with 2015 being about “rest and recovery” what better way to rest than have a book discussion in the lounge room…read, discuss and swap.

Kid is looking for books to read (it’s raining!), Dad is at work (he’s fine!), Mum needs a beer…. I mean a book!

I would love the family to get off iPads, laptops & iPods and read a real book !

I have taught my family to respect and enjoy books as a wonderful doorway into new and exciting worlds and experiences.

So we can book reading days on tech free days. Then my five kids can’t say there’s nothing to do.
