  • Mindfulness for me is about letting go of your mind and being open. I pratice mindfulness by connecting with earth, the nature because I want my mum to be filled with beauty and kindness and the animals and the natural environment is perfect.With all the chaous of life we need to let go and by praticing mindfulness in nature your mind will never be full of stress. also using natural products helps me be more mindful as I know I’m connecting with nature.

  • I love being in my garden or by the sea when I feel down and lonely its a peace i get just being close too nature to think and to be mindful of all that’s about me .


  • Everytime life presents me with a bag full of lemons… I mean situations where negative forces are at work.. I take a step back, take a gulp full of coffee or three, centre myself expelling a whoooosaaaa… And get on with it!!


  • Meditation which helps you centre your thoughts to be able to concentrate on what exactly is happening now.


  • I don’t let my mind worry and stress I stay focused on the task at hand and give it my full attention that way things are done better and im more in control and in the now.


  • I do gardening which clears my mind ;)


  • I recently put on a lot of weight with my pregnancy and whilst I still have a long way to go I have lost 25kgs by being mindful of what and how much I eat. Here is a picture of my motivation to keep going!


  • By being kind and caring and not judging.


  • I have my phone alarm set to twice a day for a reminder to just take 5 minutes, close my eyes and breathe deeply while feeling gratitude for all I have. With practice, I don’t need the alarms, it comes naturally.


  • Being aware of my surroundings. Being aware of my children’s & families (including friends) needs & circumstances. Try my hardest to observe/take in the situation before acting.


  • Stop worrying about how everything affects “me” and start thinking about those around you who are worse off


  • Just being aware of others and not yourself all the time – you become more aware of people in need and who are too scared to ask for help.


  • I try to be mindful in many ways, such as avoiding negativity, bringing my mind back to what it being said to me by my kids, when it wanders, and using Facebook intelligently for contact with friends and family, without being dragged down by the mind boggling amount of rubbish posted as fact.


  • I genuinely keep my mind on the world around me, fight for the welfare of people and animals. I am mindful of my surroundings and environment.


  • I am a psychologist and in my training learned that to be mindful one must be able to reflect upon their thoughts whilst keeping an open mind and not judging oneself harshly; based on thoughts. I live in the moment and am awake to new experiences.
