  • Margaret river! So peaceful and just so beautiful.

  • Swan valley, and the Tamar! Because its mine and my husband’s hometowns! Wine brings our friends and families together, because we often have our get togethers around the liquid of the gods!

  • The Swan Valley! Close to the Perth CBD and it’s full of tasty boutique wines and great food and scenery to match. It’s really the best doorstep Perth could ask for. Great to take my friend and family to enjoy

  • Murdering Point winery near Kurrimine Beach is a boutique winery specialising in ports and wines made from Qld fruits such as lychee, Davidson plums, mulberry and more. Delightful interesting drops! Beautiful bottles.

  • The Barossa valley. The scenery is to die for.

  • Have never had a bad red wine from McLaren Vale! One of my selection criteria when choosing a new red to try!

  • Coonawarra region. Ok it does help that I’m just down the road, but it truly is world class

  • Queensland wines barely rate a mention on the list of fine flavoursome Aussie wines but the Stanthorpe region, chillier than much of Queensland, produces a fine ‘drop’. It’s a pleasant drive from Brisbane to Pugliese’s Ballandean vineyard to sample wines, gather colder climate fruits and in mid Winter there is a possibility that snow may be seen.

  • I can’t go past Margaret River Reds. Fifth leg is a surprise one that I like a lot especially the Merlots.

  • Margaret River is a gourmet re’TREAT, Ideal for GRAPE escapes and culinary feasts! Clown Fish Shiraz is my BERRY’d treasure, My ‘PICK-OF-THE-BUNCH’ and CORKING best-CELLAR!

  • Margaret river is my and my family`s favourite wine region because we visited so many times and just got in love with it and everything it holds.

  • Albany WA, the cooler climate makes a crisper, fresher tasting wine than those of a temperate climate.

  • Barossa valley would be a dream,
To visit seems a bit extreme.
Where I like is my back yard,
Margaret river is the best by far.
    Sweet,crisp tastes in the wine
The breath of fresh air from the drive.

  • Hunter Valley as they have some amazing wines

  • The wonderful local wines from the Mornington Peninsula benefit from the sea air.

  • The Mornington Peninsula in Victoria is my favourite. It has delicious wines and beautiful views

  • We are a bit short up here in Queensland but Victoria has wonderful wineries to attend much more extensive than my home state

  • There’s a winery in the small town of Cobargo, NSW. It’s gorgeous and makes beautiful wine. Can’t be beat.

  • Living in South Australia, we have the advantage of being near so many good wineries, We love Clare, McLaren Vale but the favourite of ours is the Barossa Valley where you can get such an array of good wines.

  • I love love love McLaren Vale! It’s a short 10 minute drive from my parents house, so make it easy for hubby and I to drop the kids with the grandparents and sneak off for a light lunch with some amazing local wines.
