Vivid Sydney returns to Taronga Zoo in 2023, to shine a light on native Australian animals and the Country they call home. And two lucky families have the chance to experience an amazing day AND night out with this fabulous giveaway.

Wild Lights at Taronga is a fantastic experience for everyone to enjoy, including families with kids of all ages. Children and adults alike will be captivated by the magical atmosphere and the opportunity to learn about wildlife conservation in a fun and interactive way.

Have an unforgettable night where over 100 fireflies will take to the skies and trees above, lighting up the illuminated night trail helping guests navigate their way through the Zoo after dark.

Wild Lights at Taronga is a visual feast for the senses. The event features an array of intricate and innovative light sculptures that transform the Zoo into a wonderland of light and colour. From glowing animals to dazzling interactive light installations, Wild Lights promises a truly unforgettable and awe-inspiring experience for visitors of all ages.

Located on beautiful Cammeraigal Country, Taronga Zoo’s 2023 Vivid Sydney adventure will present a dramatic tide of light more than 65,000 years in the making. Running for 18 unforgettable nights, this year’s Wild Lights at Taronga has been inspired by ancient and present wisdom of the oldest continuing culture on the planet and will see Australia’s unique wildlife be transformed into a spectacle of light never seen before.

With a strong focus on caring for Country and driving change, this year’s Wild Lights will debut a variety of new breathtaking lanterns that shine a light on some of the country’s most iconic species, such as the emu, possum, echidna, dingo, platypus, kangaroo and koala and the landscapes they call home.

This all-inclusive ticketed event has food and drinks (including alcohol) available to purchase throughout the evening, with guests also having the option to bring their own food.

Wild Lights at Taronga Zoo runs from Friday the 26 May to Saturday 17 June 2022, opening Wednesday through Sunday evenings, with two ticketed entry times -5.30pm and 7.30pm – with the last entry at 8.30pm. Wild Lights will also be open for the King’s Birthday public holiday on Monday 12 June.

Tickets to Wild Lights are priced at $30 for adults, $25 for children, $27 for concessions while children under four are free. Taronga Zoo Friends and Zoo partners receive a 10% discount on all ticket purchases and access to pre-sale.
