To celebrate the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show’s 20th year in bloom and the release of Disney’s Tinker Bell and the Legend of the NeverBeast, we have 4 family prize packs to give away!

Winners will receive both a family pass for 4 to attend MIFGS (valued at $60) and a family pass for 4 to watch Tinker Bell and the Legend of the NeverBeast at a cinema of your choice (valued at $80).

The Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show (MIFGS) returns for its 20th year with a burst of blooms in 2015 at the Royal Exhibition Building and Carlton Gardens from Wednesday 25 March – Sunday 29 March.

As the largest horticultural event in the Southern Hemisphere, MIFGS sees some of Australia’s best landscape designers, florists and suppliers decorate the heritage-listed site with incredible displays attracting more than 110,000 visitors annually.

Not just an event for gardening enthusiasts, MIFGS is an affordable day out for the whole family with an array of attractions including the Sculpture Garden featuring live sculpting sessions, the Great Hall of Flowers featuring floral design workshops and the Kids Under Cover Cubby House Challenge.

The event will feature an interactive Disney garden for the whole family and to celebrate this event we are offering readers the chance to win family passes to both MIFGS and Disney’s new movie Tinker Bell and the Legend of the NeverBeast.

The heartwarming adventure Tinker Bell and the Legend of the NeverBeast explores the ancient myth of a mysterious creature whose distant roar sparks the curiosity of Tinker Bell’s friend Fawn, an animal fairy who’s not afraid to break the rules to rescue the NeverBeast before time runs out.

  • We are a walking comedy show – so we need to go somewhere fun and vibrant!

  • My family deserves a fun day out together as I have spent a lot of time unwell and in hospital lately by attending The Melbourne International Flower and Garden show means being surrounded by the beauty of life and nature. I can also see big smiles on their faces while at the MIFAGS and while watching the new Tinkerbell movie.

  • This will be gret to win for my son

  • Work, school and house work… maximum effort, minimum fun. A Melbourne Flower & Garden Show outing will show us how fine outdoor rest areas are done!

  • Our lives are constantly on the go. We always seem “too busy” either working, running kids around or wasting our lives on electronic gadgets. A fun day out would be a nice reward for our labours as well as focussing on the family unit rather than operating as four individuals.

  • With the fresh hint of flowers and leaves in the air and displays to admire all day long, and a trip to the movies to see Tinker Bell’s latest move is exactly the way my family and I would like to spend time together, something we seldom do.

  • After a chaotic year, a year where changes had to be made. My sons and I need a fun day out to forget the sad and have a laugh.

  • We like most families live week to week so we dont get much of a chance to go out on weekends as the funds just dont reach that far. I would love to be able to take my kids out for a day and watch them have fun

  • ‘Ho Hum’ has been following us around for weeks,
…. time to stop and smell the roses!

  • We\’ve had a WEEDY busy day,
    Pruning, digging, planting,
… now we\’d like to celebrate, with this garden fun you\’re granting! :)

  • this is a great prize to win

  • In the daily grind that’s life
It’s hard to find time together
A shift-working hubby and two rambunctious toddlers
    We often get cabin fever
But a day out together would soften the grind
    Full of laughter and fun
Exploring all the show has to give
    Soaking up that glorious sun!

  • My family deserves a fun day out because of all the hard work that has been done over the last term and kids been very good lately

  • To relieve the stress associate with bringing up two boys, one who has had ear problems and tonsil problems

  • As a single full time working mum we have little time to have a fun day out just to relax, my girls would Ove every moment

  • 2 weeks ago I give birth to baby number 5. We are all super happy, but I can tell the little ones are getting cabin fever as we haven’t ventured out of the house much since. A fun day out is just what the midwife ordered!

  • Because we hardly do anything together as a family

  • We’re DOWN TO EARTH. WEED love it. We’re BLOOMIN’ good fun. We have SHED loads of ideas. We’d be TREEmendously grateful!

  • It’s always good to get out of the house and spend some fun time with the Family, especially for my Husband who works long hours, we would all really enjoy these two activities.

  • My wife is fantastic and is always there for me and our kids no matter what. I would love to surprise here with free tickets as she has been trying to go for the last few years but has been too busy. I would love to give her tickets!
