  • Every night we sit down and we ask eachother what the best part of our days were, and we all just sit and listen. It really does show everyone that we care, and we care about their day! No matter how big or small the win was!

  • Food unites my family young and old alike. Every Sunday our extended family would gather and cook Spanish Paella at home, connecting in the heart and spirit of love and togetherness. “The more the merrier!” Mum 78 always said. We show one another we truly care through servings of food!

  • We tease each other but we are always there when it matters. I love that this one trait has passed down all of the generations.

  • We have a family movie night once a week and we all have a good laugh and we all show our love.

  • We like to prepare our meals together and eat together.

  • We gather for Sunday dinners, a cherished tradition,
Sharing laughter, stories, and culinary rendition.
In this precious time, love and care unfurl,
A reminder that family is our cherished pearl.

  • Always say I love you when leaving the house.
When getting a drink my daughter goes around and ask everyone if the would like one.
Sharing our special snacks with each other.

  • With four of us working our rule is first one home cooks dinner
That way the ones working late don’t have to worry , and get to come home to a hot meal waiting for them .

  • Put a smile on everyone’s dial when there’s some who have their frown upside down!

  • My family always look out for each other and when one is tired or sick, the other will make soup or do the housework to take some of the pressure off daily life, its caring about each other

  • My family would bushwalk on the weekends. Through this experience, we’d bond with one another, chatting about life, sharing stories, listening to issues, working through things. It takes a conversation to connect, an ear to understand, and humour to break the ice. We’d eat sandwiches made with love and care.

  • What my family do to show they car is my sister just had her first not too long ago and they are struggling with interest rates every week we buy her nappys or wipes or formula

  • Without asking we all chip in to the household chores and cleaning, so no one person has to do it all.

  • We have a weekly zoom so the grandparents can chat and read to the grandchildren. Breakfast and dinner are done as a family everyday

  • We write happy notes aboutveach other and put them in a box then read them out on a Friday

  • My family frequently gathers for heartfelt dinners, where we take turns sharing our daily experiences and listen attentively, offering support and empathy. These gatherings strengthen our bond and ensure we’re always there for one another.

  • We take the time each day to do something together as a family! It could be as simple as go for a walk together. Just spending time together and listening to each other.

  • We make sure to say I love you and connect in some way at least once a day. You never know when your time is up. So make it count.

  • We write lovely messages on to one another on a white board that is stuck on the fridge.

  • My family has to give a hug and a kiss for the youngest every time we leave each other.
