Hello!

When mum-of-three Yadi Hollands found a laundry product that takes care of everything from stained cloth nappies to martial arts uniforms, she became the ultimate fangirl.

“I feel ridiculous being passionate about laundry products but it’s honestly that good,” Yadi told Mouths of Mums.

Three years later, Yadi’s still in awe of the Biozet Attack range. She says it’s saved her money, because she no longer has to throw away clothes that have been trashed at daycare and sport, and time – because there’s no need to soak anything!

“The best thing is that it’s accessible to all sorts of families. It’s not too expensive. Yeah, I love Biozet Attack.”

Biozet Real Mum Review Yadi Hollands

The 31-year-old busy mum works full time, juggling kids aged nine, six and two, and a husband who works fly in fly out. The family also love their sport – which means a whole lot more washing that needs to be done throughout the week and on weekends.

“We’re a martial arts family. I do boxing, my husband does boxing, jujitsu, my kids all do jujitsu. We’re always busy, on the move on the run. It’s a busy household, and we always have washing to do, like non-stop washing.”

Biozet Real Mum Review Yadi Hollands

Yadi first tried Biozet Attack when the family decided to switch their youngest to cloth nappies, after using disposable nappies for their first two kids.

“With our third child we encroached on the idea of using cloth nappies. I’d never had anything to do with them at all. And I joined a few Facebook groups, one of them is a wonderful Facebook group called Clean Cloth Nappies. They have a graph of the best laundry powders and liquids to efficiently clean cloth nappies and it’s a tried and tested formula. And basically Biozet Attack kept coming up for me as a recommended product.

“What stood out for me is that you don’t actually need much to be able to clean cloth nappies. Secondly, a lot of other products had a really strong scent. Now with Biozet Attack, what I find fascinating about it is that the scent, it makes your clothes smell clean without being overpowering. It doesn’t cling to your body or your other washing. It’s not like a fake smell.”

Yadi then decided to try using Biozet Attack on the whole family’s washing – and it’s now become her ride-or-die laundry product. It’s meant saving money on clothing, and cutting down on washing time, with no need to soak sport uniforms or daycare outfits.

“We started using it for cloth nappies and it worked wonderfully. In the whole year and a half to two years I’ve used cloth nappies I’ve never had a stain on my nappies by following the instructions. So I started actually using it on our other laundry maybe 15 months ago.

“I think what made me stay with Biozet Attack is that it does efficiently clean, the smell’s not fake, but it still smells clean and I wasn’t using too much where it was having a big impact on our budget as a family.

“When we’ve got such a busy sporting family the fact that I could noticeably see how much of a difference it made to the stains on our clothes I could actually keep clothes instead of defaulting to throwing them out or using them as our daycare clothes. We could actually get longevity out of our washing.”

Yadi used Biozet Attack on her daughter’s dress after a tomato sauce disaster. “I used no extra products, only Biozet Attack in a normal cycle.”

 Yadi’s favourite Biozet Attack products

Biozet Attack has a range of six products in the two litre liquid range, available at Coles and Woolworths, including:

  • Biozet Attack Plus Softener
  • Biozet Attack Regular
  • Biozet Attack Plus Eliminator
  • Biozet Attack Plus Stain Power
  • Biozet Attack Plus Sensitive
  • Biozet Attack Plus Essential Oils

The range is designed to tackle any laundry dilemma, from everyday cleaning, to removing tough stains, getting rid of odour-causing bacteria and making fabrics super soft.

So which products are Yadi’s favourites?

“The Biozet Attack Plus Softener is one of my favourite Biozet Attack products along with the Biozet Attack Plus Eliminator. My towels always come out fluffy and I also notice it with all of my little baby clothes, they’re always lovely to touch.

“People don’t need to be afraid either – just because it’s got fabric softener, doesn’t mean it’s not effective at stain removal. Especially when you’ve got cloth nappies, that obviously are our dirtiest laundry, to have a soft product against our baby’s bum is really important to me.”

This Real Mum Story was provided as part of a paid sponsorship opportunity. Yadi was chosen to share her story because she’s a long-time Biozet Attack devotee, who genuinely loves and uses the products, and wants to share her experience and opinions with other mums.

  • It’s the little things in life. Doing laundry is actually one of my favourite house chores. Mobbing the floor not as much. lol

  • I dont mind doing the laundry, except when I’m time poor and others sit and do nothing whilst I’m flat out

  • My favourite “chore” is laundry. I derive so much satisfaction in a nice pile of clean, folded basked of clothes.!

  • I can see both sides of this dilemma, but there must be some sort of compromise you could work out like changing the name to Tiler or Timmins or something more appropriate like that. Maybe you could ask the in-laws what they’ve always wanted to be called. Maybe the original surname was a little different because a lot of surnames have been altered over the years. Failing that you’ll just have to do what’s best for the child. Unfortunately, kids always find something to tease other kids about anyway.

  • Anyone used this with sensitive eczema? Mine and my sons skin flares up with a lot of detergents. We’ve only been able to use Omo Sensitive. But I’d be keen to try something where I don’t have to soak stains out of clothes beforehand.

  • Is there a high chemical content? I’m starting to become aware of the chemicals used in many products that we are using, especially ones that are in our clothes that absorb into our and our children’s skin all day.
