Take your family on an incredible journey with one of five family passes to Australian Geographic: Our Country Immersive Experience – a first of its kind, multi-sensory experience taking you into the beating heart of Australia’s vast wilderness.

We have five family passes (2A + 2C or 1A + 3C) valued at $99.90 each up for grabs!

Did you know there are 760,000 trees within Canberra’s city limits? Or that Western Australia’s Ningaloo Reef is one of the world’s longest fringing reefs and a single uninterrupted reef that stretches for 300KMs? Or that discoveries made in New South Wales’ Mungo National Park date back more than 40,000 years, making them some of the earliest modern remains ever found in Australia?

There’s lots to discover about Australia’s vast wilderness at the Australian Geographic Our Country immersive experience.

Our Country explores the natural landscapes of Australia, from rainforests, oceans and deserts through a multi-sensory experience showcased through impressive large format, high definition screens which take families into the beating heart of Australia.

Made up of the works of 25 specialist cinematographers, including David Attenborough’s favourite macro-cameraman Peter Nearhos, and brought to life from over 100,000 hours in the field, Our Country spotlights every ecosystem in Australia and celebrates the grandeur and diversity of Australia’s wild places, with storms, lightning, fire and ice in their elemental forces.

This cinematic experience incorporates exquisite details of nature’s textures mapped across 40 impressive screens and draws on sound recorded from natural environments, creatively mixed with a musical score built from a collaboration with Indigenous and non-Indigenous composers, sound designers and performers.

Featuring highly crafted cinematography and a powerful 360-degree surround soundscape, this immersive experience is a must-see summer event and will encourage kids and families to develop a personal relationship with the natural world.

Together with TEG Live, this international touring event has launched its world premiere in Sydney at Hall 7, ICC Sydney Exhibition Centre until February 5, in strategic partnership with the NSW Government through its tourism and major events agency, Destination NSW. The event is supported by Official Partner, AAT Kings. You can purchase tickets and find more information at Australian Geographic Our Country Immersive Experience.
