Sydney’s favourite family entertainment The Wind in the Willows continues its well-loved summer tradition returning to the beautiful surrounds of Royal Botanic Garden, Sydney, playing from Wednesday 6 to Saturday 23 January 2016.

Kenneth Grahame’s immortal story of life on the riverbank is a rollicking yet gentle adventure, starring the pompous, arrogant, vain, hilarious Toad – a favourite with children everywhere. Toad, along with his better-behaved friends, Ratty, Mole, Otter and Badger, as well as the rascally Weasel, have come to life every summer for the past 14 years providing enchanting and lively entertainment for all the family.

*please note Sydney winners only – you must be able to provide your own transport to and from the event and own spending money

Please note this competition is open from 17th November 2015 until 16th December 2015 and is only available to members of Mouths Of Mums. A classic tale for young and old,

My son had a bad experience last 2 days of school the year 6 formal was changed to an excursion to tree top in home bush he was told by 2 teachers hes to short to go it divested him and unfortunately kids made a joke so he missed out on his yesr 6 graduation he lives the book and dressed up on character parade at school as ratty thankyou

As a child I was fascinated by Wind in the Willow, and Mr Toad. I’d love for my kids to experience something I loved so dear.

I remember reading the Wind in the Willows to my kids when they were little. To relive this magical story in such a special way, in such a beautiful setting as the Royal Botanic Gardens would ensure that my kids and I would have treasured memories of this story forever

My kids are third generation wind in the willows fans.. my dad read it me and I’ve read to them at bedtime just the same.. plus they are crazy about live performance.. you couldn’t give them anything better at christmas!

Have to drive down to Sydney for this one, but it will be worth it…
I will feel like a kid again, and have to restrain myself from skipping around like Mr Toad. What a joy! Fun for everyone!

A classic story in a beautiful setting. I have read my children the tale and we’ve watched the video – I’d love to bring the story to life for them by seeing it acted out in the very picturesque botanical gardens. A beautiful summers evening activity.
