  • Going to bed on Halloween eve night.
    BOO! Woken by my 2 year old son dressed in his costume.
    Giving me a midnight fright!


  • one time we had a party and the next min all the lights turned out we ended up having a blackout it was so spooky


  • As a kid our parents would always dress up and freak us out and jump out and scare us which we thought was hilarious. Now we love getting involved in Halloween with our own kids.


  • I think visiting my husbands family in QLD… no particular reason other than they are the strangest people I have ever met .lol #saidwithLove


  • I was 6 months pregnant, feeling very nauseous. We were invited to a ‘pot luck’ dinner as our new neighbours had just moved in. The meal? A Halloween feast served with ‘raw eyeballs’ spaghetti and ‘cut fingers’ sausage (complete with almond fingernails). Shock horror… I threw up on the spot!


  • we went to a haunted house and played games and had Halloween themed food it was spooky and i no it wasn’t real but it felt it I was literally scared


  • Last year my partner dressed my German Shepherd up as a ghost and he brought him in our bedroom in the middle of the night and I thought it was a child ghost!

  • The spookiest Halloween yet and one I’ll never forget. There were lots of witches, zombies, ghouls and ghosts. Morticia and Gomez were our hosts. It all felt really scary and then I let out an embarrassing blood-curdling squeal when Lurch came out to serve our meal.


  • My spookiest Halloween was when I visited a church in England renowned for Witch gatherings, lots of strange things happened in that village.


  • Watched the Halloween movie in the dark with a friend home alone when younger then heard a Bang! Bang! On the door. We screamed!


  • My spookiest Halloween was in 1998, I was only 12 and as my parents didn’t celebrate they still thought it was funny to play tricks on me. Mum had a clown doll I was terrified of. I went to jump into bed, when I pulled back the blanket, the clown doll was laying in my bed. I was mortified. Mum n dad thought it was hilarious.


  • My girlfriend organised a Halloween get together at her house. Her MIL was sitting in a chair in the corner wearing all black. I didn’t know she was there and when I walked past she put out her hand to ask me for a drink and I basically fainted from the fright! So Embarrassing.


  • I stayed in a Haunted House on Halloween and saw ghosts… it was a ‘Spook’tacular experience!


  • Attending Boo at The Zoo was a super scary but fun night last year. My kids were even frightened of their dad who dressed as a zombie


  • Going through a building filled with cobwebs from floor to ceiling. It was dark and everything felt itchy.


  • In our nearest township they have a ‘trick and treat’ goodie trail around the town, one house you go through maze going through ‘cobwebs’ and monster and to get your treat you have to stick your hands (in the dark) into random holes, you may find ‘worms’ or ‘eyeballs’
