Disney Pixar have always taken audiences on unique and imaginative journeys and in their newest creation – Inside Out, they will take you to the most extraordinary location of all, inside the mind. The creators of “Up” will introduce you to five important emotions – Joy, Fear, Anger, Disgust and Sadness.

Based in Headquarters, the control centre inside 11-year-old Riley’s mind, five emotions are hard at work, led by the lighthearted optimist Joy, whose mission is to make sure Riley stays happy. Fear heads up safety, Anger ensures all is fair and Disgust prevents Riley from getting poisoned – both physically and socially. Sadness isn’t exactly sure what her role is, and frankly, neither is anyone else.

Loaded with Disney Pixar’s signature charm, Inside Out features a mind full of memorable characters, poignant moments and humour. Directed by Pete Docter (Toy Story, Up, Monsters Inc.) and helping to bring the characters to life is a creative and comedic ensemble voice cast, including Amy Poehler (Parks and Recreation) as Joy, Bill Hader (Saturday Night Live) as Fear, Mindy Kaling (The Mindy Project) as Disgust, Lewis Black (The Rant is Due: Part Deux tour) as Anger and Phyllis Smith (The Office) as Sadness.

  • Confidence – if you have this you can suceed greatly in life!

  • Hope/hopefulness,because without hope it is hard to move forward (also a lovely sensible wise character like hope would go well with the other emotions)

  • Confused – As all kids feel this elway at times and can know what they feel is ok and what this feeling is called.

  • Happiness or cheerfulness… Because we all need some positive emotion too!

  • Pride would be an essential emotion in headquarters, everyone needs to take pride in themselves, what they achieve in life and those around us!

  • Jealousy. It is such a strong emotion and can cause you to do crazy things.

  • I would invite Pride to Headquarters because I believe children need to be proud of their achievements, however small, and we as adults need to encourage this emotion in them.

  • I’d invite psychotic just so people know just how weird someone can be

  • Love is by far the best emotion to add to headquarters, quite simply the best feeling in the world, that cannot be surpassed!

  • Empathy – I think we could all do with some extra empathy to help understand what others are feeling

  • Love, because love makes the world go around. We all like to feel loved and children in particular need to feel loved.

  • “JOY! Most WANTED!!!
VERY ILLUSIVE BUT STILL LOVED BY ALL.

  • Joy, cause everyone could use a bit more happiness and joy in their lives and I love seeing people smile!

  • The sleep emotion – something we all need more of!

  • Sadness – she needs a big hug and a whole heap of chocolate!

  • I would invite depression to headquarters. such a misunderstood emotion/condition with so much stigma attached. If we could start dealing with depression from a younger age, I’m sure it would affect less people later in life.

  • Loneliness kids sometimes feel that they’re alone in the world or anxiety as so many kids have depression and anxiety in this day and age and it’ll show them they’re not alone that everyone goes Thru it

  • Excitement, I love surprise.

  • Joy – for happy vibes and fun times!

  • Love – how romantic! It would bring something special to HQ and show everyone tolerance and affection. It conquers all!
