  • Switch off before you shut down – ditch electronics and read!!! Then last thing before bed, I write a list of things to do tomorrow so I can put cares out of my mind and relax, sleep, let go and dream!

  • The Ergo flex memory foam pillows, the best thing on the market for the perfect sleep.
Excellent support for the neck and head . Had a lie down on a friend’s Ergoflex and was converted. I would love to own one and not have the feeling of tiredness all day long.

  • I have learnt not to fight it some nights. If the kids venture in to our room, I let them stay these days instead of spending hours putting them back to bed. We all sleep peaceful and I know that this is a stage they will grow out of. So I treasure the cuddles

  • Check into a motel away from the kids and the snoring husband.

  • With a toddler, expect the unexpected, so NEVER stay up that extra hour to catch up on shows… because you know he will wake earlier than normal the next morning just because they heard a car go past, or the garbage truck and they need to tell you about it!

  • Send the kids to the in-laws for a sleepover! But for everyday, a digital detox, fresh sheets and the perfect pillow – unfortunately that is the elusive element for which I believe Ergoflex holds the key and I can’t wait to prove it!!

  • Cross your fingers and hope the kids sleep through the night without crawling into my bed or stealing my pillow or pulling off my blankets.

  • No nana naps in the afternoon.

  • I try and head to bed before I start to fall asleep on the sofa. And most important….lock the bedroom door to keep the kids out. Not a great night sleep when there are bodies stacked on top of you

  • Don’t let your 9 year old crawl into your bed every night. If you look at the bags under my eyes this doesn’t happen much in my bed.

  • I try to get to bed as early as I can and not use any electronic devices in the hour before bed. I read a little bit before the lights get turned off and then I’m out for the count! If I’m preoccupied by anything, I write it down and think it through and then it doesn’t bother me anymore before going to sleep.

  • Send hubby into the spare room, make sure the kids asleep first, and the dog can go with hubby! Bliss.

  • the second I feel tired I should just fall asleep and not try to fight it. Waking up at 4am each day is a sure way to make me exhausted

  • Have Bedroom Decluttered Turn all social media off 15 minutes before bed ,start reading book you will fall asleep.

  • Get exhausted from a bit of under the sheet hanky panky

  • Eye mask on so it’s really dark! Eye plugs in so it’s nice and quiet! Deep breathing, hold the breath, slow release… Do this a few times and before long… ZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzz!

  • Drink some hot milk before sleep

  • Mindfulness and meditation. Emptying your mind or all worries, thoughts and ill feelings and replacing them with being in tune with being in the moment, your breathing and relaxing your muscles is the absolute key to a restful, peaceful perfect night sleep

  • Don’t go to bed overtired or over full and try to clear your mind of all the days trials and tribulations.

  • Try to get to sleep before your snoring husband does.
