  • Making sure Santa came to his house for all his Granddaughters, the smiles he got when they saw Santa. It was like a dream come true. I just love how Dad surprises us even when he doesn’t have too.

  • Jogging along the beach with my dad in our swimmers & people thinking we were together – he’s so fit, happy & good looking! I’m 31 years younger.

  • When he walked me down the aisle. I was hysterically crying because I was having a panic attack and he was able to calm me down and let me walk down, in a dignified manner! Haha

  • I think the look on his face after being told he had a son after having so many girls, it was priceless.

  • Dancing with him at my wedding. He knew how to dance and how to lead…….I didn’t know how to do any of it, but it worked like magic because he did

  • When our house was on fire and my Dad ran back in to same my cat Peanut and gave him mouth to mouth resuscitation.

  • My favourite are looking back on those newborn days and remembering how he would hold his baby girl and just adore her and see him falling in love with being a Daddy.

  • There’s an old video, of me when I was very little. Swimming while on vacation. Little me jumps off the edge of the pool into my Dad’s arms again and again…
    I love that video.

  • Not my dad, but watching Neil Finn play (music) with his sons. The look of pride and happiness on his face is genuinely heart warming

  • Dad told me I had to let down my tyres every few months as the air loses its ‘bounce’. Lucky, Mum caught me in time!

  • My dad used to build us our dream doll houses and cubby houses. He’d build them and always let us decorate them with our favourite colours and stickers.

  • Dad teaching me to ride my bike, I was terrified and Dad said ‘Trust Me’, then I knew I will be ok.

  • Travelling to China as it’s his dream country to visit.

  • Making a go cart with Dad and then trying it out down the hill only to see the wheel go racing past us, what good times we had.

  • At a zoo when an emu stuck its head in our car window and scared my dad, it was so funny.

  • We had a lot of fun as kids growing up, dad taught us how to ride horses, and we would have bonfires and go camping, it was always pretty fun.

  • My dad coming home from long stints overseas in the Navy with gifts for us all and a rose for mum.

  • When he taught me to ride a bike.

  • Most memorable dad moment was when my son woke up his dad on fathers day and said happy birthday! It was so cute that his father didn’t have the heart to tell him it was fathers day!

  • Last Christmas Dad had all of his children and grandchildren at home on the farm. Christmas morning was super special, Dad and Mum had grins from ear to ear as the watched everyone sitting around the Christmas tree.
