Idyllically located next to Australia’s only medieval theme park, the BIG4 Kryal Castle Holiday Park is the closest Ballarat-based BIG4 caravan park to Melbourne, Victoria. The perfect family getaway, its games room, pool, and observatory deck area are all-inclusive. Boasting stunning views of both Ballarat and the surrounding countryside, this pet-friendly park would make the toughest of knights swoon.

The 4-person cabins are cosy spaces located in the peak position of the park’s grounds with two kitchenettes, two bathrooms, two split king beds and two TVs, making them ideal for families of all ages.

The enchanting and magical castle grounds will be open to the lucky family, allowing them to step back in time to a world of picturesque gardens, knights, daily jousts, wizardry, and potions. With so much to explore, this competition is the perfect opportunity for newcomers or past visitors to the park to experience all its fantastical fun!

Winners can participate in an array of interactive activities and shows that bring Medieval history to life. From show-stopping jousting tournaments and daring sword fights to axe-throwing and archery, there is something for all ages to enjoy.

The fun doesn’t stop there, winners will also be able to learn all about the fascinating history of Medieval times and get up close to the castle’s beautiful performance horses!

  • After a hard day of jousting, defending our honour and casting spells on our enemies, recovering in one of these castles would allow our small army to dust off our armour, be entertained by a local jester and indulge in a sumptuous banquet. Relaxing nights for my active knights.
