I wouldn’t think it is how a date should be at the little girl’s age. It’s a cute video. So many Dads don’t bother to spend much bonding time with their daughters. This video shows the importance of taking the time to spend quality time with our children as often has we possibly can. They deserve it.

One thing struck me watching this video is that dad expressed to be nervous ! That tells me it’s bit over the top. Also that he’s all dressed up. I don’t have anything against my husband taking one of the kids out to do a special thing in turns, but please be who you are and be relaxed and have fun…no nervous behavior needed, no dressing up needed… And also it’s more important how you treat your wife and kids the rest of the time (besides the dates).

It’s a beautiful video, great memento for her to look at when she’s older. Like others have said, I agree with the setting a great example by treating her mum how she should be treated to show her daughter. Things like this make me sad, though in regards to my youngest who will never have something like this.

I’m not a fan of this kind of thing. The best way to demonstrate to your daughter how a guy should treat her is to treat her mum with love and respect so she sees how a healthy relationship plays out IRL.

Fantastic – a lot of focus is on mums when it comes to parents, ie more media build up for mother’s day than fathers etc. This is great, further emphasises the importance of male role models – good ones that is.

That is something she will always remember. Dads and daughters have a special bond and his example will always be how she allows herself to be treated by men!
