  • Bit too cold and wet at the moment to do anything. Can’t even mow the lawn as the ground is so wet. Once spring does finally hit I’m going to get some new plants to put on my new front deck.

  • I must admit, I love people’s spring gardens, just not my own. I’m not a gardener. I love creating a to-do list for hubby to do, and to be involved in the selection process, etc. I’m just not a gardener. I don’t think to water. It’s just another thing on the list of things to do. We have a low-maintenance garden that hubby is good with, but anything I come in contact with dies. I do love the smell of freshly mown lawns in spring though.

  • If you plsnted vegies in Autumn you usually feel a sense of achievement when you pick them in Spring. In Spring the soil starts to warm up and the weather does the same. You can plant vegies you want to harvest during Summer – possibly in time for Christmas. Some are best if you use seeds, others you are better off to buy seedlings. Follow the instructions when plantying them for best results.
