Finding the right family car to run around your most precious cargo usually ends in compromises of some sort. But we’ve discovered the ultimate family vehicle that wins out in every consideration; technology, safety and comfort. And it happens to look incredible.

The GWM Haval H6GT is a family car that doesn’t look like a family car, but has all of the creature comforts and safety features we expect in a vehicle transporting our family. Turns out, the perfect family car does actually exist.

4 Reasons The Haval H6GT Needs To Be Your Next Family Car

Haval H6GT

The Haval H6GT is a true family car, despite its sporty exterior. A sleek and practical coupé SUV with head-turning good looks and a bunch of safety, tech, performance and comfort features, it perfectly straddles family needs with sublime styling.

Here’s a look at the five main reasons why the Haval H6GT needs to be your next family car.

1. ISOFIX

As well as being super roomy for passengers, the H6GT has ISOFIX anchors and top-tether points for car seats. ISOFIX is a safer alternative for fastening children’s car seats into cars, securing the car seat to a bracket rather than relying on the safety belt to tether the car seat. For families with babies and small children, it’s a game-changer.

2. Handsfree Tailgate

If you’ve ever had to juggle a baby in one arm (or have hold of a toddler’s hand) and the shopping in another, you’re going to adore the handsfree tailgate. And with delayed closing and a memory function you’ll feel like you’ve always got a helping hand when loading the car up with kids in tow!

3. Advanced Safety

When we’re transporting the most precious things in our lives, above everything else we want to know that safety has been a major consideration. And with the Haval H6GT, there’s no questioning the level of advanced safety features, which include:

  • Intelligent technology, active and passive safety protection, front and side monitoring provide worry-free travel.
  • 360 Degree Camera – Standard on Lux and Ultra
  • Full Auto Parking – Standard on Ultra
  • Intelligent Dodge – Standard on Ultra
  • Rear Collision Warning Automatic
  • Emergency Braking (AEB) – Standard on all models
  • Door Open Warning

We love the 360 Degree Camera – it means there are eyes all around the car which is so handy when you’re driving in and out of tight spaces, but also to be aware if anything or anyone is close by.

The Full Auto Parking takes the stress out of parking the car (which can be stressful with kids aboard!). It’s like having an onboard chauffeur parking for you!

With a 5-star ANCAP rating, the H6GT has more safety assist features than ever.

4. Comfort And Luxury

Of course, just because we’re putting safety and substance at the forefront of our family car choice, it doesn’t mean having to compromise on comfort and luxury. The Haval H6GT is a treasure trove of incredible features that make driving and being a passenger an absolute delight.

From the panoramic sunroof to the heated and ventilated front seat (Ultra model) to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, it’s a pleasure to drive this fabulous family car. The digital instrument panel and full-colour touch screen (Premium and Lux models) add an air of luxury, as does the LED dash lighting and 8-way adjustable driver’s seat.

There’s also a wireless phone charger, configurable cupholder section and plenty of storage throughout the interior. And when it comes to the boot, there’s 392 litres capacity with the car configured to five seats, or a whopping 1390L when the rear seats are dropped down.

Haval H6GT – Lux And Ultra

Available in the Lux or Ultra, the Haval H6GT is a sophisticated family car with everything a family needs to travel in comfort and style.

The Haval H6GT Lux starts at $40,990 driveaway, the Ultra starts at $46,490 driveaway.

From its incredible looks to its feature-packed interior and superior safety features, it’s hard to find a reason not to make the Haval H6GT your next family car.

  • Thankfully I only need a small car now a days.
These look lovely and if I had the need for a bigger car I would certainly have these on my list. I am still not good with the backing cameras and find them distracting as im just not used to them.

  • I don’t know a lot about this brand but the pricing is reasonable for a new car with all of those options.

  • I have a RAV4 which I love so I think if I do get a new car it will be another RAV4. I don’t need a big family car because mine fits in everything I need.

  • I think I’d go for a Toyota Rav4. They are about the same price etc, but a bit safer.

  • I’ve seen a lot of Haval vehicles around my area, but none of them will fit in our carspace, for the time being we will stick with our existing vehicle. Always happy to test drive in the future, but would want a hybrid model at minimum.

  • I’ve never heard or seen this brand before. The vehicle has a rather interesting look from the outside .. not sure it’s something I’d be happy with. I might stick to a VW

  • Haven’t heard of this brand before. We just bought a new Rav 4 two years ago so probably won’t be upgrading anytime soon but if we were to then it would probably be a brand I’m more familiar with as I want something that’s reliable as well as safe. It’s hard to sell me a brand I know nothing about.
