Scientists have suggested that two glasses of wine before bed could actually help you lose weight.
The studies come from Washington State University and Harvard Medical School and explain that there is a polyphenol called “resveratrol” in red wine that lends us a hand in the weight loss department.
This resveratrol converts white fat into “obesity-fighting” beige fat, which is much easier for the body to break down, shares The Sun.
Studies have also suggested that resveratrol suppresses your appetite so you won’t fancy eating as much anyway.
