If your kids love a little magic and a whole lot of cuddles, Bloomables by Hatchimals might just be the toy that tops their wish list this year.

Think of it as a flower that keeps on giving: nurture a bud, watch it bloom into a Hatchipillar, and then transform it again into a winged Kittyfly or Puppyfly. It’s like a garden full of secrets, right in the palm of their hands.

Combining the surprise-and-delight of Hatchimals with a floral twist, children experience a metamorphosis like no other – from petals to plush! Start the journey by nurturing a flower-shaped bud using the watering can accessory.

As you care for it, the bud blooms to reveal an adorable, cuddly Hatchipillar. But the magic doesn’t stop there! Once the Hatchipillar’s antennae light up, place it back in its flower and it transforms again – this time into a plush Kittyfly or Puppyfly with vibrant, colourful wings.

Unlike the original Hatchimals, this exciting double character reveal is repeatable – allowing children to re-live the wonder again-and-again. Perfect for imaginative play and nurturing curiosity, this is one garden surprise that keeps on blooming.

Designed for hands-on discovery, the original Hatchimals toy launched in 2016 and was one of the most sought after and talked about toys the industry had seen in years – and the new Bloomables bring a whole new level of whimsical magic to the Hatchimals family. Featuring colourful lights and music, with over 100 sounds and reactions, from tickling to singing, Bloomables by Hatchimals support rich, creative play for children aged 4 and up.

There are two varieties of Bloomables – Kittyfly and Puppfly – each model is sold separately. With Kittyfly children will discover one of two characters, Violet or Rosie; with Puppyfly, they will discover Blossom or Daisy.

Bloomables by Hatchimals, RRP $99.99, are available now at major retailers including Kmart, Big W, Target, Amazon and Myer.

  • This reminds me of a toy that I saw kmart had and its a dinosour egg. Im not sure what you have to do to it but it hatches and then you are left with the toy. Someone had recoreded the hatching process and it really did look amazing and real.

  • It is definitely very cute, but the problem with these ‘must have’ toys is that they are played up a lot more than what they actually are. In reality your child will like it for a couple of weeks and then it’ll sit on a shelf and there’s $70 down the drain…

  • This is a definite improvement – my problem with the original hatchimals was that they were very expensive, and they basically only worked once. Which was just ridiculous if you ask me. I’m not sure if my kids are still interested in this sort of thing, but it’s gorgeous, and I wouldn’t mind one!

  • This toy is so adorable, my daughter would absolutely love this. Although my daughter doesn’t meet the age recommendation for this toy just yet, this looks like it might have to make it on the Christmas list, it is super cute and reminds me of the furby I had as a kid.

  • This definitely is super cute and we definitely rode the hatchimal train when our girls were younger. We bought the big expensive egg that hatched and it was fun for about a week. Lol I will say though I would much rather my kids play with toys like these then on tech all day

  • Thank you for sharing this new cute and fun looking toy. I was not aware of this new toy and it does indeed sound very interesting and also interactive. I do like the bright colours and the many features of this toy. It would be good to see this demonstrated in store.

  • These are absolutely adorable and such a fun way to get kids being creative. I can imagine any little girl would be thrilled to find one from Santa. Honestly, I think I would love one myself! They are a bit expensive though, hopefully they might go on sale closer to Christmas

  • They are very cute indeed ! They really do sound magic and the they can change in appearance, show colour light and music effect is I’m sure quite intriguing for our kids. And that with over a hundred sounds and reactions !
I do however think that $99.99 is quite dear and wonder how long their interest would last

  • These are just so sweet , I can see why the kids would love them. Last Xmas we bought our grandsons Hatchimals and they were 7 & 9. The boys absolutely adore them and play with them often. I can certainly see the appeal for these new ones and am sure they will be a hit.
