If there’s one thing all teens value, it’s individuality and Mocka’s new Youth collection makes it easier than ever for young people to style a room that’s uniquely them.

The Youth range has been largely inspired by social-driven styles like Dopamine Decor, Colour Drenching and Eclectic Retro, statement trends that are all about character, personality and a whole lot of fun.

“The colours we have chosen for this first collection are drawn from a combination of interior trends and fashion and lifestyle trends. More and more, interiors are being styled and curated with dopamine theory in mind. Creating glimmers and bursts of joy in a space is a way to ground young people and create a sense of belonging and enable self-expression.”

  • I really like this range of teenage furniture. It’s fresh, modern, very cool, adaptable to personality styles and has nothing to do with any particular theme (e.g pop culture, superheroes, gaming etc). Affordable and functional, and love the range of colours to choose from as well. Well done on this great range!

  • There is some seriously cool stuff here! I am loving the different colour schemes and little touches like that funky lamp that girls are just going to love in their room. I think the lockers are a fantastic idea. Both of my kids have treasures they like to keep locked away from each other and I think they’d love these!

  • I can see where they are going with these designs. I would have loved a locker style cabinet or wardrobe in my room as a teen, so these will no doubt be a bit with teens and a slam dunk by the parents. The colours are cute and different, it allows some personality to shine. Great ideas here

  • I really do like the look of these cabinets and lockers and they could easily be used throughout the house. These cabinets and lockers could also be used when planning creative projects and personalising some of these pieces. It could possibly be a fun and enjoyable project in our household.

  • I like ranges that you can mix and match, both within the range and with stuff from other stores or ranges. These seem to meet that ideal, and they look both sturdy and great looking as well. I bet a lot of teens (and pre teens) would be keen on these.

  • I would have loved something like this when I was a pre-teen or teen, but to be honest it’s very unlikely my parents would have spent any money on decorating my bedroom. Still, these pieces look practical as well as being cool, and could also be mixed with pieces from other stores.

  • I actually really like this collection. Its very cool and a bit retro without being too over the top and i love the softer pastel colours as well. Its something a younger child could keep for a long time as well because it’s not babyish so they won’t outgrow it too fast 🙂

  • Yes they do have a retro look about them I think that’s also because of the colours used. My teenagers always did their research themselves and as soon as they started to earn money they saved and ordered the furniture for their rooms themselves. At that age their taste is still changing and we saw quite some furniture passing by. What they like now, they may not like in half a year, lol !
