Hello!

There’s a clever, little piece of sanity-saving tech that’s shot straight to the top of my Christmas wish list (sorry to everything else under the tree!). And once we tell you all about it, you’ll be running out to grab one (or a few!) for yourself and everyone you know.

Motorola’s new moto tag is a game-changer for busy mums (and dads), giving us the ability to find anything, anywhere.¹

It’d be a rare day that someone in my house isn’t looking for a set of keys, wallet, bag or laptop case – and that’s where the moto tag comes into its own. Just attach a moto tag to anything you want to keep track of, and if it’s misplaced, use your Android phone to find it, with absolute pinpoint accuracy.

From bikes to luggage, handbags to purses, nothing is ever really lost with a moto tag.

How does the moto tag work?

It uses Google’s Find My Device network of more than a billion Android devices across the globe to locate your tag – but it also protects your privacy.

And the tags are designed to seamlessly integrate with third-party accessories, so they can be attached to whatever you want to track.

Pop a tag on your handbag, baby bag, the kids’ bikes, in your purse, the house keys, or anything else that seems to disappear! With the press of a button on your phone you’ll know exactly where the item is, without having to turn the house upside down. And if you’re travelling, moto tags are an absolute must-have for checked luggage.

Here’s what else we love about this clever accessory.

Easy set up: You don’t need to be a rocket scientist (or your teenager) to set up a moto tag. Pair any Android device with a single tap.
Tracking protection: All tracking is private with end-to-end encryption.
Bluetooth precision: Using Find My Device, locating your item is just a click away!
Multifunction button: You can use the tag in reverse! Just push the button and it will ring your phone (because we all know we lose them too!).
One-year battery life: And once the battery is out of juice after 12 months², it’s easy to replace it with a new one.
Underwater protection: The moto tags still work if they accidentally get wet³.

The moto tag is the latest must-have mum accessory that will save your sanity more than once when something goes missing!

There’s still time to get your hands on one of these smart devices before Christmas – just head to your nearest Harvey Norman store or shop online – A single tag is $55, while a pack of four is $179 – however they are currently on sale!

  • Love the idea if the Moto Tag. I suppose I can just put the tag in a zip in my hand bag instead of attaching it. Wonder how I could attach one to my husband, as I am always loosing him at the shops. I think I will get some for my elderly mother as she is always forgetting where she puts thing now.

  • lol great in theory but not everything can have a tag attached and most of the time things you need you can’t attached like phot, AirPods etc

  • What a fantastic idea! These would be an absolute life saver in many situations. Unfortunately for me I’m always using my phone lol… Maybe I could attach one to my phone and have it set up on my husbands phone? Or maybe you can have the tags joined to two separate phones? That would be handy in the case you lose one..

  • This is such a great product and will be a life saver for busy or absent minded people like myself. I keep losing everything and cant put it on everything but atleast my car keys will be safe now as I put it here and there and never find it on time

  • That’s exactly what I need. Constantly losing things. Pity they are too big to put on glasses.

  • I love this idea, I’m constantly losing track of my phone. I’m glad it has an easy setup too as I’m not great with technology. I’ll definitely be picking up one or two of these on my next shopping trip to Harvey Norman. Might even get one for the hubby

  • This sounds amazing!! The only problem I have is that I can not attach it to my middle sons soccer balls (he lost about 5 in the last 2 years). Someone needs to come up with a gps tag that I can attach to his soccer balls ha ha. Other than this I also need one for the tv remote.

  • I have only tried Air Tags, which seem to operate very similarly to these. And I have to say they are a wonderful, wonderful thing. In San Diego I got a bit disorientated, so I checked “find my” for my suitcase – and it showed me a lovely map back to my hotel. Got myself sorted fast!

  • It sounds like something my children could use as they are always losing this or that and we seem to spend hours looking for the lost items. It is great also that it works in reverse and you can find your phone by pressing the tag. I always lose that.

  • Seems like a ver useful idea and could actually work for me, specially because I spend like 10 mins a day looking for the house, car, gate keys… it is so annoying. I wonder what is the difference between this one and airtags which I have been hearing about recently.

  • This would be great for my eldest daughter who has ADHD inattentive type. She is often forgetful and disorganised and is therefore prone to lose things, especially in situation of stress or time pressure. The moto tag would definitely be very helpful for her. It sounds like a very clever accessory indeed!

  • These are a great idea and I’m sure will be a big hit for those with Motorolas. We are relying on our phone for so much, more and more. They hold so much of our info, our memories and now remembering for us. Great for keeping track of anything and everything.

  • This will be a very popular purchase.

  • This is a fantastic idea! I wonder if it’s too late to get one for my hubby for Christmas? I think he would love this! He’s always looking for things, and while I can’t get one of these for everything he owns, one for his wallet and keys would be a good start! I also love that it operates with Android/Google as we have a Google home system, so could probably ask Google to find it when at home.

  • What?!!!!! I need at least 10 of these!!!! Might actually save my life, certainly my time lost each day hunting for things (both mine and the kids!) . I once found my phone in the fridge, and my glasses in the washing machine, never mind playing the ‘who’s seen my keys’ game. (it’s not mum brain, or dementia I swear!) • Omg this is a genius product! The amount of time I spend asking myself and my husband where *blank* is in the house is endless hahah. This is definitely a product that I will look into to buying, it will pay for itself so quickly. And I love how stylish it looks.
