Mum delivered her own ‘miracle baby’ after her husband dismissed her saying it was an ‘exaggeration’.
When Evonna Byrd, 28, from New Jersey, US, realised her water broke just three minutes into the 15-minute drive to hospital she noticed the baby’s head sticking out less than a minute later.
But husband Chris, 30, didn’t believe her claims, only to be surprised seconds later when the baby’s shoulders started to appear, shares Yahoo.
Moments after she had given birth to Ezra in a pair of baggy sweatpants a mere 10 minutes from the hospital.
“It’s truly a miracle. Once we actually got to the hospital, there were no complications and we were able to go home in two days,” Ms Byrd revealed.
“I felt excruciating pain in the car. It was the worst pain I ever felt in my life. I knew what was happening.”
“I was telling Chris that I couldn’t hold on any longer and then all of a sudden his head popped out.
Evonna shared on Facebook, “You don’t know how strong you really are until you’re in a life or death situation & you literally have no choice but to survive. The “Fight or Flight Response” was kicking my butt, but I fought harder. God definitely covered us in our car.”
Ms Byrd’s two older children, Crystal, 3, and Christopher Jr, 1, were sitting in the back seat at the time of the birth.
What a story to tell little Ezra as he grows up!
