In one of the most spellbinding LEGO releases of the year, the Sanderson Sisters’ Cottage from the iconic movie Hocus Pocus is being released as a LEGO set.
Based on the sisters’ cottage from the original 1993 movie, the new set is due for release on July 4, and it will have you bewitched!
Of course the original Hocus Pocus movie has gained a cult following since its release more than three decades ago, but it found a whole new audience last year with the release of Hocus Pocus 2. And now fans can build their own piece of the film, with the latest LEGO Ideas creation to be brought to life.
Designed by 26-year old, Belgian LEGO fan and Hocus Pocus fan, Amber Veyt, the original design attracted 10,000 votes and was then selected to be made into a real LEGO set.
The 2,316 piece set includes six new minifigs: the Sanderson Sisters, Max, Danni, Allison and Thackery Binx as the black cat. The cottage can also be transformed into the Sanderson Witch Museum – which is what happened in the second film. All you need to do is use the adorable pieces that come with the set, including an info stand, museum signage, rope barriers and a cash register which can all stay hidden in a secret storage compartment under the stairs.
LEGO has released several movie and tv-themed sets recently, including an Up house set and The Office.
This set is one for the true fans though, the LEGO Hocus Pocus set is going to set you back $349.99.
