Hello!

Today there’s a tinge of sadness in the MoM office …

We’ve just been discussing the things today that have us thinking about those we know and those we only know of, that really need all the love they can get right now.

As mothers who love deeply and mothers who have who lost, our minds are making a vain attempting to take in the absolutely paralysing grief Anthony Maslin and Rin Norris would be experiencing now. To lose all of your children and their Grandfather in a heartbeat would be enough to crush you.

The nuturing nature of a mother has us wanting to FIX IT!  How can it be that something this bad is completely unfixable?  And then when we realise there is nothing we can do to fix it, we want to gather them to us and just hold them.  To hug them close enough to take the edge off the pain.  There are no words that can wind back the clock, no actions that can change what has happened.  All we can do is express how we feel in an attempt to process the situation for ourselves … and in doing this, surround them with as much love as we can.

Do you know someone who could do with a little love sent their way?

Whether it’s a friend who’s separated from her partner, a Mum who’s struggling with an illness, your neighbour who is battling just to keep her head above water with the everyday or Mo, Evie & Otis’ Mum and Dad who are dealing minute by minute with the loss of their 3 children and Grandfather … everyone knows someone who needs a little message of love sent their way.

Sure, it won’t change the outcome.  But the pure act of taking a few moments to write them a message creates a flow of positive energy and loving support from you to them.  You don’t need to say their name or anything about their situation specifically. Just comment on this OPEN POST below to let us know you’re thinking of them and sending a little love their way.

Let’s see how many messages of love we can create right now …

  • A heart wrenching story about a tragic circumstance and horrific outcomes and it only got 61 comments. I am shocked

  • For every day that you feel alone or that nobody understands you, take a small walk outside and breathe in that air, take in that sight of the sky, ocean, or feel of the grass or earth under your feet and know that somewhere another person is sharing the exact same moment with you…. You are not alone.
Even though I can longer see you I will always Love You and hope that you knew that.
