This stuff is great and is so useful for so many things around the house. Sadly, for us at the moment that is for lifting wee out of the carpet thanks to an unruly toddler. I’ve used it as a scrub for the shower which worked great as well. It’s definitely something I always keep in the pantry.

It’s great to use in baking and great for cleaning. McKenzie’s is a well known, good quality brand. It’s also a good price in supermarkets.

Bi-card soda has been in our household forever because there are so many uses for it. McKenxies is the brand of choice and it’s so reasonable. From cooking, washing to cleaning – this product does it all.

This is the only bicarb soda I use! I love getting it in the shaker as very convenient.

Have been using it for years and it has never let me down. It has so many uses but it surprised me when it came up in a google search into how to fix the pool water. 3 boxes in the pool and it fizzed for a day or so with filters running and the water leveled out and became clear again.

I use this for a lot of dissent household things whether it be cooking to washing.
When used for cooking, it can last ages as you generally only need a teaspoon but when using it in the wash, you will pretty much use the 3/4 of the box.

If you bake you need bi carb soda in your pantry and this is the brand to buy. Also great for cleaning when you asfd with vinegar or lemon juice

Ah, those pantry staples you can’t live without! I always have a supply of this in my pantry as it doesn’t spoil and who knows when you might need to bake- you can even clean pots and pans with it!

Bi Carb soda is such a great versatile, multi purpose product that everyone should have at least a box at home.

Everything from cooking and baking to adding as a poultice to draw out impurities in skin, to using it to clean brass! My vet even had us give our dog a dose when she had eaten something she should not have (only EVER do this under vet supervision as the salt levels can be very damaging) but it just shows what a great multi use product this is.

I have had to buy another brand once when our shop ran out and I could tell the difference, it did not work as well at all!!

I stick to buying the McKenzie version as it genuinely seems to be more reactive, perhaps it is more pure than the cheaper versions, I always stick to McKenzies Bi Carb Soda!

Not only is this perfect for cooking and baking, but it is a great all round aide around the home. Id you want your cutlery to look like new again or need to remove tea stains from white mugs – this is just the thing!

Always use this, its never out of our pantry. I use it in baking, for overnight soaking of chickpeas and beans as well as cleaning. My husband often mix it in water and drink it when he feels a bit sluggish. I would definitely recommend it.

I don’t anyone that doesn’t have Mckenzie’s baking soda at home. It’s not just for baking, but it’s fabulous for cleaning and removing stains and I sometimes add a bit to my toothpaste. It works wonders!

Although baking powder is great, I have always preferred baking soda because you use less and it is more powerful. Be careful not to mix them up though!

Not only is this great for cooking as it Doesn’t have that floury or tangy taste. But It also works really well to use as a cleaning product with vinegar and is a cheaper alternative than a chemical based spray

McKenzies is my favourite brand of Bi Carb Soda. I use it in cooking and in cleaning. If u make it into a paste, it is great for cleaning your oven. Its also great as a toilet cleaner mixed with vinegar.

McKenzie’s Bi Carb is a staple on our pantry. I use it for cooking and cleaning. A scoop in the dishwasher works wonders. My shower floor stays clean with just a sprinkling of bi carb and our toilet is sparkling white. This is an awesome product.

Really like the McKenzies Bi Carb Soda – not only is it great for cooking but I use it when cleaning the bathroom, oven and even sprinkling in the kids shoes to keeps smells away. Would have given this a 5 star rating had my box not been so hard to open and then reseal properly

I use Mckenzies Bi Carb Soda for so many things, not just cooking. Only last night I sprinkled McKenzie’s bi carb into my oven and then vinegar. The oven cleaned up really easily. I’ve also used it on carpet to make it fresh and bright,.

Good old Mckenzie’s Bi Carb Soda – what would we do without it? It has so many uses around the house from cleaning the bathtub to removing tea and coffee stains from cups; it’s also handy as a fridge deodoriser and of course in baking.

The only BicCarb Soda that I use. Discovered the real big boxes only a few years ago and bought half a dozen. I use them, but so does the husband also. Great in the kitchen, cleaning and in the shed. Awesome to put in the fridge and help keep odours under control.

Bi-carb is so versatile that you need to have it in your pantry.
It’s needed here and there for baking but you can use it for so many different cleaning purposes (it is great to absorb odors, …).

Are use this for cooking and cleaning and I always have some in my pantry. It works really well to remove baked on food from baking dishes. Just some of this and some hot water for the kettle let it soak for five minutes and the food just come straight off!

Bicarbonate soda is always useful to have on hand. Used to add to cakes and or other bakery items (anzac cookies!) as needed. Also a useful cleaning agent.

Great for using in cooking when the recipe call for it. I have only ever used this brand as my family (mum) always used it. Stores well and can be used as a natural deodorant. As other know works well for cleaning. It has no smell and takes smells away.

I use this product, more for cleaning than anything. I used a toothbrush with bi carb soda and water to scrub my tile grout..came out perfectly clean and white. Just a word of caution..a little goes a long way!

Bi Carb Soda is fantastic in many applications. I use it in cooking where required (mainly banana bread). But I use it on my bathroom and toilet floor, sprinkled on with a sieve and then spray over vinegar to make it bubble and clean, then wipe it up and mop over gets rid of the most stinky of smells

Always have this in my pantry not only for cooking but for cleaning too. It has so many good and handy uses that I make sure I never run out.

Really love this stuff, I often wonder what I use it for but I know about it when I run out. It absorbs smells – I use it on the carpet before vacumming ( and it doesn’t matter if the children eat it), I use it in the fridge, in the bin, in baking and with vinegar to clean drains/sinks

Love love this stuff. Its so versitile. Its great for cooking and cleaning and skin. Works great as a cleanser on the skin and hair leaves it so soft and excellant to use as a paste to clean baths etc and its cheap.

Who loves cleaning the shower? Not me!? Bi carb soda mixed with vinegar always does the job. I love it and isn’t pungent like most cleaners are. 100% recommend this product.

Bi-carb soda is a must for any household. I use it for so many things. From cleaning, to shining and cleaning finger marks from stainless steel to stains on carpet and in laundry. It’s so cheap. Cuts down on using nasty chemical cleaners. Always have a box somewhere – if not two.

So after spending hundreds of dollars on products trying to fix my sons cradle up, just mix with water to make a paste, and hey presto! This stuff is like magic.
Plus I use it to soak all of our pots and pans that are hard to scrub clean.

This is always in my cupboards, it’s the one I buy most. The only negative thing is that you can’t reseal it so it has to be put in a container.

This is a wonderful thing to have for most rooms in the house, the obvious is cooking but it comes in handy to kill odours in most room or the fridge it a wonderful cleaning agent when mix with other products.

I always have a box of this Mckenzie’s Bi Carb soda and use it for cakes and also for cleaning.?its great quality but I really dislike the box and find it difficult to get product out and it can be messy to but other than that it’s great.

we use this product for our spa instead of using spa chemicals which makes my skin itchy and red and dry afterwards. chemicals gives my daughter and son hives looks after using the spa. so we only use bi carb soda to keep the spa clean. I haven’t used this for food related.

McKenzies Bi Carb Soda comes in a cardboard box with an opening tab on the side which is awkward to get any out. Other than that it’s useful for many things & the same as any other brand.

I use bi carb for lots of things from baking to making washing powder to cleaning my oven. I have used Mc Kenzies and it was great but it worked no different to the home brand bi carb and is more expensive. If the price was the same as home brand I’d buy it for conviniance of packaging. Home brand is in a bag. The box is better for storing.
