Ingredients (serves 12)
- 3 Pastry sheets
- 2 cups Almond meal
- 1 cup Brazil nut meal
- 250gm Organic butter
- 5 tablespoon Stevia
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoon vanilla essence
Method
- Melt butter in microwave for 30 seconds so it becomes soft.
- Cream together with egg, vanilla essence, and stevia. Then mix in both nut meal. Combine until they are well mixed. You can add salt too if you like :)
- Spread generously on one pastry sheet and stack another sheet on top. Repeat so you get 2 layers of nut meal cream.
- Press the sheets together firmly and bake on 180C for 15 minutes. You can spread some more mixture on the top and sprinkle some almond flakes before baking them:)
- Wait until they are cooled completely before slicing them :)
