Quick and easy healthy apple and oats for breakfast!


Ingredients (serves 1)

  • 1/3 cup Rolled Oats
  • 1/2 Apple, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup Greek or natural yoghurt
  • 2 Tbsp Walnuts, chopped

Method

  1. Place 3/4 cup water and the rolled oats in a saucepan. Cook on medium heat for about 5 minutes.
  2. Add the cinnamon and apple and stir. Continue cooking until oats and apple are tender.
  3. Take off the heat and stir in the yoghurt. Serve, topped with walnuts.

  • Such an easy and yummy sounding brekkie.
    Will need to try this out during the week.
