Ingredients (serves 4)

  • 1 regular tin of 'pie apples'
  • 2 tbsp raspberry jam
  • 1/2 cup almond meal
  • 1/2 cup plain flour
  • 1/2 cup coconut
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 60g butter

Method

  1. Pour pie apples into dish. Spread the raspberry jam over the top. Set aside.
  2. Mix all the remaining ingredients together and work through the butter until it is a crumble consistency.
  3. Sprinkle on top of apple and jam mixture.
  4. Bake in the over for 20 minutes on 180 degrees

  • I’m going to keep this apple crumble mix for future recipes. Always need a good crumble.

  • Apple crumble would have to me one of my all time favourites. Love the addition of jam and I think this would be brilliant with Mum’s home made raspberry jam!
