I have a latin american background. We love Paletas (iceblocks). For me avocado and coconut smells and tastes like the caribbean. Healthy option for icecream!

Ingredients (serves 10 | makes 10 Ice blocks)

  • 4 Ripe Avocadoes
  • 200ml coconut milk
  • 1 Lime
  • to taste coconut sugar

Method

  1. Disolve the coconut sugar with a little bit of water.
  2. Blend all the ingredients until smooth
  3. pour on molds and wait until they are almost frozen to put the iceblock sticks

  • Beautiful ! Try raw vanilla powder instead of coconut palm sugar.
A nice variation is to add raw chocolate powder.

  • Definately a unique recipe to try maybe more for summer time. Also probably for myself more than my two children.

  • Beautiful !!
I use avocado’s, coconut cream and raw chocolate powder to make chocolate icecream. Instead of coconut palm sugar I use yacon syrup to sweeten. I often add a bit of coffee to give it that beautiful taste.
