A really nice banana cake.
Ingredients (makes 12 squares)
- 125g Butter
- 200g Sugar
- 1 heaped tsp Cinnamon powder
- 2 Eggs
- 3 Ripe bananas Mashed
- 2 tbsp milk
- 180g Self Raising flour
- 1/2 tsp Bicarb soda
Method
- Cream butter and sugar.
- Mix in Egg, flour, cinnamon powder, milk and Bicarb. Mix well
- Add mashed banana and pour into lined tin approx 25 x 25cm.
- Bake 190C for 20 mins until cooked.
Notes
if using a smaller tin to make higher cake cook a little longer to make sure cooked in the middle. To test if cooked put a skewer in and it should come out clean. You can add a handful of nuts or raisins for variation.
