Ingredients (makes 12 )

  • 150gm Drained beetroot from a can
  • 1 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup Coconut oil
  • 1 cup instant oats
  • 1/2 cup cacao powder

Method

  1. Blend all ingredients in a food processor and pour mixture them in a flat tray. Leave it in the fridge for 1 hour.
  2. Cut and Serve chilled :)

  • This is just what I’ve been looking for…a choc treat with oats and coconut oil. I’ve used beetroot in chocolate cake and biscuits before, and I’ll be definitely be trying this. Thanks so much for the recipe, I’m really excited by this one.
