These are tasty little bites, perfect for parties

Ingredients (serves 6)

  • 1/2 Cup mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 125g Creamy Blue cheese
  • 2 cups fine Panko crumbs
  • 1ltr Cooking oil

Method

  1. Heat your oil in a deep pan
  2. In a bowl combine all cheeses into a paste
  3. with a teaspoon roll a ball of cheese up and dip it in the crumbs, cover the ball in crumbs and drop it in the hot oil. The oil needs to be quite hot as you want them to cook quickly.

Notes

Drain well on a paper towel and serve hot, crispy on the outside but warm and gooey on the inside!

  • I like this recipe but I’m not a fan of blue cheese. I’d probably add cheddar instead as the parmesan is already quite salty.

  • Serving your blue cheese balls instead of cheese and crackers to family and friends would be a winner! Thanks.

  • ‘m not a fan of blue cheese – does the flavour really come through or does it blend in with the other cheeses?
