Cake Mix Cinnamon Donuts

Easy Donut Shapes made with Cake mix. Cost effective treat for the kids.

Ingredients (makes 12 Standard Donuts)

2 Cups SR Flour
1/2 Cup Caster Sugar
1 Cup Milk
1/2 Cup Melted Butter
2 Eggs
1 Cinnamon Sugar

Method

Preheat oven to 180C
Combine ingredients starting with making a well in the flour and mixing in sugar, milk, butter, eggs and mix well until smooth. Prepare a Donut Tray with cooking spray or heat up donut maker.
Half fill donut rings in cooking tray so they don't overflow and bake for approx 15 minutes.
Dust while warm so the cinnamon sugar sticks

Finally tried this out , it was so easy and no hot oil to worry about. Was able to make some GF ones too for those that need them.

Very interesting. A cake crossed with a donut. I love donuts but not so keen on cake

Will have to keep an eye out for a donut tray until then might try mini muffin or patty cake tin.
