This is a great side dish,

Ingredients (serves 6)

  • 1/2 head of cauliflower
  • 80g Butter
  • 1cup Grated mozzarella
  • 1 cup Grated tasty cheese
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/3 cup Self raising flour
  • 1 tsp Crushed Garlic
  • 1 salt and pepper to taste


  1. Cut your cauliflower heads into florets and lay them in a baking dish
  2. In a saucepan melt your butter, add in flour and cook it off, add milk slowly, then the garlic and then the cheeses, Stir constantly with a wooden spoon and season with salt and pepper to season
  3. Pour the cheese sauce over the cauliflower florets. Cover with foil and bake in a moderate oven for 25 minutes, uncover and bake for a further 10 minutes or until golden brown
