Simple but very tasty meal.
Ingredients (serves 4)
- 2 Pork fillets
- MARINADE
- 1/4 cup Tomato sauce
- 1 teaspoon chinese 5 spice
- 1/4 cup honey (I used a little less than a cup)
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- Garlic ( crushed)
- Chilli ( chopped fine)
- NOODLES
- 2 packets Udon noodles
- small bunch coriander
- 3 spring onions
- sesame seeds to decorate
- splash soy sauce
Method
- Combine all ingredients for the marinade
- Pour over fillets in a dish. Marinate for 1 hour (or over night if you are planning ahead)
- Brown fillets in pan, then place in an oven proof dish and Bake for 30-35 minutes in a 200C deg. oven basting occasionally Slice and serve with sauce poured over the top
- Put noodles in a bowl and cover with boiling water for 4-5 minutes, drain well. Using the pan you browned the meat in add a little oil and tip in the noodles
- Heat through with a splash of soy sauce. Add chopped spring onion and chopped coriander Sprinkle with sesame seeds
Notes
I serve this tasty meat with the noodles and stir fry ginger vegetables. It's yummy cold too
