Simple but very tasty meal.

Ingredients (serves 4)

  • 2 Pork fillets
  • MARINADE
  • 1/4 cup Tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon chinese 5 spice
  • 1/4 cup honey (I used a little less than a cup)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • Garlic ( crushed)
  • Chilli ( chopped fine)
  • NOODLES
  • 2 packets Udon noodles
  • small bunch coriander
  • 3 spring onions
  • sesame seeds to decorate
  • splash soy sauce

Method

  1. Combine all ingredients for the marinade
  2. Pour over fillets in a dish. Marinate for 1 hour (or over night if you are planning ahead)
  3. Brown fillets in pan, then place in an oven proof dish and Bake for 30-35 minutes in a 200C deg. oven basting occasionally Slice and serve with sauce poured over the top
  4. Put noodles in a bowl and cover with boiling water for 4-5 minutes, drain well. Using the pan you browned the meat in add a little oil and tip in the noodles
  5. Heat through with a splash of soy sauce. Add chopped spring onion and chopped coriander Sprinkle with sesame seeds
