This recipe asked for 1 lemon however, I like to add more
Ingredients (makes 1 Large Pouring jug)
- 125 grams Butter
- 1 Small onion
- 125 mls White wine
- 2 tablespoons Flour
- 250 mls Cooking cream
- 250 mls Milk
- 2 Lemon juiced
Method
- Melt butter in large saucepan over medium-high heat. Add onions and white wine, cook and stir until the onions are soft. Lower the heat to medium, whisk in the flour. Gradually whisk cream into the flour mixture. Stir in the milk and remaining lemon juice.
Notes
This sauce can also be served over pasta, served with fish or with crusty bread & a green salad.
