A kid friendly, low refined sugar snack these are a brilliant lunch box treat or mum treat with a cuppa!
Ingredients (makes 20 Balls)
- 1 1/2 cups Pitted dates
- 1/4 cup Sunflower seeds
- 3 tbsp Chia seeds
- 2 tbsp Coconut oil
- 2 tbsp Dark cocoa powder
- 3 tbsp Nut butter of choice
- 1 tspn Vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup Dessicated coconut
- 2 tbsp Dark chocolate chips
Method
- Add all ingredients except dessicated coconut and choc chips into blender and blend until crumbly
- Add choc chips and pulse so they remain somewhat chunky
- Roll into bite sized balls
- Roll balls into a bowl of dessicated coconut to coat
- Refrigerate for 30 mins to set.
Notes
Add a tablespoon of water or milk of choice to help binding if required.
