The ground flaxseed in this recipe works wonders as an alternative to flour and adds some great nutrition, like plant-based omega-3s
Ingredients (makes 10 bars)
- 2 cup rolled oats
- 0.5 cup peanuts
- 0.5 cup sesame seeds
- 0.5 cup pumpkin seed
- 0.75 cup dried cranberry
- 0.5 cup sultanas
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 cup ground flaxseed
- 0.5 cup water (or as needed)
Method
- Mix all the dry ingredients together
- Add a teaspoon of honey and the water (as needed) to make a dough that binds the ingredients together
- Bake for 180C for 10-15 minutes
