Yogo without all the additives!

Ingredients (serves 8 | makes 1 litre)

  • 4 tblsp Cocoa
  • 4 tblsp cornflour
  • 1/2 cup caster sugar
  • 800ml milk

Method

  1. Sift dry ingredients together and mix with 300ml of the milk. Meanwhile, bring to the boil the remaining 500ml of milk. Whisk in the chocolately milk. Continue whisking on low heat until it thickens (can take up to 5 minutes).
  2. Pour into a bowl and cover with plastic film so it touches the top of the yogo and pop it into the fridge until it cools. Serve cold.
  3. For a strawberry version, substitute the cocoa and half the sweetener for two tablespoons of strawberry Quik

  • Oooh I remember having yoga as a kid and it was delicious. This looks super easy and cheap to make and I’m sure my kids would love it. Plus it doesn’t have all the basty preservatives of the shop bought stuff so it’s a lot healthier which is always a bonus.
