Serve with butter rice, bitternut chips and chili prawn.
Ingredients (makes 12 skewers)
- 600 gr Chicken breast cut into thin strips.
- 12 Skewers
- 1 tbs Cumin powder
- 2 tbs Coriander powder
- 1 tbs Turmeric powder
- 2 cm Galangal
- 3 stalks Lemongrass
- 75 ml Coconut milk
- 1 1/2 tbs Salt
- 3 tbs Brown sugar
Method
- Blend all marinade seasoning ( cumin, coriander, turmeric, galangal, lemongrass, coconut milk, salt, brown sugar) until fine paste. Marinade the chicken meat with fine paste, set aside for 1 hour or preferably overnight in the fridge.
- Thread the marinated strips of meat through satay skewers, around 4-5 pcs per skewer. Barbecue the satay using charcoal fire (this method taste better) or put under the grill until golden brown.
