My kids make this as it is easy and delicious to eat afterwards.
for the tin use any size you like ie if you want a thin slice use a bigger one and if you want a thick slice or cube use a higher container.

Ingredients

  • 1 packet marshmallows
  • 1 packet snakes
  • 500g cadburys chocolate block

Method

  1. chop marshmallows and snakes into little pieces.
  2. break up chocolate and microwave in plastic bowl on high for 20 seconds then stir with plastic spoon. put in again for 20 seconds and then stir and repeat until all melted. Alternatively you can melt in a bain-marie. Be careful not to over cook which is why you do 20 seconds at a time.
  3. WHen chocolate is melted mix in lollies and marshmallows and pour into a lined tin with baking paper. refrigerate and cut into slices or bite size pieces when set.

Notes

You can add nuts if you wish. You can use any of your favourite lollies and the smaller you chop them the better. line the tin with baking paper so easy to pull out when set. If you use a nice tasting chocolate like cadburys it tastes even better.

  • What a super cute recipe! I love the use of snakes instead of the glare cherries, which are something almost every kid in my family do not enjoy! Nut Free Rocky Road is great too for those with allergies and would be great for great for the year school parties
