Nice chiffon cake for morning tea.


Ingredients (makes 1 cake)

  • 5 Egg yolk
  • 20 gr Sugar
  • 50 gr Corn oil
  • 70 gr Pandan Water
  • 100 gr Plain flour
  • 1/4 tbs Pandan paste
  • 5 Egg white
  • 70 gr Sugar
  • 10 gr Corn flour

Method

  1. Whisk egg yolk and sugar ( 20gr ) until creamy. Add in corn oil and pandan water, mix well.
  2. Fold in flour and pandan paste mix well. Set aside.
  3. Beat egg white, sugar and corn flour until soft peak form. Fold in egg white mixture into egg yolk mixture, mix well.
  4. Pour into 20" baking pan. Bake at pre heat oven at 160C for 45 minutes.
