Quick and easy healthy mid week dinner. Really nice sauce!
Ingredients (serves 4)
- 4 Pork Loin Steaks
- 3 tsp Minced Garlic
- 1 Tbsp Butter
- 1/4C Honey
- 1/4C Water
- 2 Tbsp White Wine Vinegar
- 1 Tbsp Olive oil
- 2 Tbsp Fresh parsley
Method
- Heat oil in a pan over medium high. Sear pork loin steaks on both sides until golden and cooked through. Remove from pan; set aside.
- Place pan back on heat, add butter scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan. Add garlic, cook until fragrant . Add the honey, water and vinegar. Increase the heat to high and cook until the sauce reduces down and thickens.
- Return the cooked pork to the pan and baste generously with the sauce for 1-2 minutes. Add freshly chopped parsley.
- Serve with mashed sweet potato and steamed greens (broccolini/ peas and/or green beans)
Notes
You could try this with chicken or fish!
