This is so easy and a delicious combination that you may not have thought of before – but it works!

Ingredients (serves 4)

  • 1kg Potatoes
  • 400gms Bacon
  • 1 cup Sour Cream
  • 1 cup Apple sauce
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 tbsp Cajun spices

Method

  1. Cut potatoes into wedges and coat in cajun spices. If your kids do not like spice, you can skip that part.
  2. Preheat Airfryer to 200 degrees C. Place wedges in tray and cook for 15 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile chop bacon into strips and cook in a frying pan until they are nice and crispy.
  4. Once wedges are a lovely golden brown, place them in a bowl. Season with a little salt if you like. Sprinkle some bacon strips directly onto the wedges and place a couple of dollops of sour cream and apple sauce on top. Delicious!

  • I guess this would work in the oven also, or does the airfryer work better?
