This recipe is proudly brought to you by IGA and is perfect when served with IGA’s Blue Cheese Pork with Pears.


Ingredients (serves 2)

  • 12 asparagus stalks
  • 1 tbsp. butter
  • 6 fresh sage leaves

Method

  1. Rinse the asparagus, peel the stalks and then remove the tough white ends at the base.
  2. Sauté in butter (along with sage leaves) until tender.
  3. Season with sea salt and cracked pepper to serve.

  • Sounds yummy. Will try making it this way.

  • Love garlic like this, now the Blue Cheese Pork with Pears, must search that out, as sounds as though would be amazing.

  • I like mine cooked on a pan,garlic butter so there not hard with the Taste being nice & not dry.
