This bread is delicious and cheesy. You could also add garlic!


Ingredients (serves 4)

  • 2 Tbsp softened butter
  • 2 Tbsp Parmesan cheese
  • Pinch pepper
  • 4 pieces bread

Method

  1. Mix the butter, parmesan cheese and pepper together.
  2. Spread on one side of the bread.
  3. Place face down in a pan with a plate on top to keep moist.
  4. Turn when crispy and enjoy!

  • I loved this Sizzler bread. I loved their food too. Wish they were still around. What a shame they have all closed down. I will try to make this bread but I am sure it won’t be the same.

  • OMG, I so remember that bread. this really takes me back many years. I don’t think Sizzler exists anymore but this and the potato skins were definitely a highlight.

  • I tried this with crusty french stick and super thick sliced bread….the thicker the better. Butter is definitely a winner over margarine too. Sorry Sizzler, you lost my visit hehehe
