A good healthy breakfast for the kids or you.


Ingredients (serves 1)

  • 1 toast
  • 1 teaspoon of vegemite
  • 2 slices of ham
  • 1/2 avocado

Method

  1. Cook the toast to your liking.
  2. Spread the vegemite on the toast (use butter as well if desired).
  3. Top with the avocado and smash with a fork.
  4. Put the 2 slices of ham on top and you're done.

  • smashed avo is mostly eaten with scrambled eggs truss tomatos and or dukkah in our house

  • I love smashed avocado and vegemite on toast although I haven’t tried it with ham. I usually add eggs, mushrooms and tomatoes.

  • Yes can vouch for the avo and vegemite going well together. Haven’t tried it with ham though.

  • Never have I tried Vegemite with Avo! Think that the saltiness from the Vegemite might complement the avo..will have to try it and let you know!
