My toddler favourite cookies 🙂

Ingredients (makes 14 Cookies)

  • 200 gr Butter
  • 100 gr Icing Sugar
  • 1 Egg Yolk
  • 1/2 tbs Vanila extract
  • 230 gr Plain flour
  • 30 gr Cocoa
  • 1 bottle White chocolate writing fudge (for decoration)

Method

  1. Whisk butter and icing sugar together for several minutes until soft and airy. Add egg yolk and vanilla extract and mix. Sift in the flour, and mix well by hand.
  2. Divide the dough into two equal parts and add the cocoa into one half. Wrap each part in plastic wrap and leave in the fridge for one hour.
  3. With a rolling pin, roll out the dough until about 1 cm thick. Cut to shape-cookie base should be a big circle with a diameter of 6 cm, the second circle with a diameter of 3 cm, and then place eyes and ears.
  4. Bake the cookies at 170°C for 10-15 minutes and let cool completely. Decorate Teddy Bear mouth and nose with white chocolate writing fudge and leave it to set. Teddy Bear cookies ready to serve.

  • These smiling teddy bear biscuits look so cute and I know my grandson would absolutely love them. The recipe looks simple enough and we could probably make them together. Decorating them with the white chocolate fudge would make it interesting and fun as he is only 2. A great sweet treat to make together.
