Everyone's favourite, so you may want to double or even triple the ingredients.
Ingredients (makes 1.5 cups)
- 1 can chickpeas
- 1 teaspoon tahini paste
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- handful baby salad spinach
- good pinch salt
- half teaspoon crushed garlic
- a little bit extra virgin olive oil (to drizzle on top before serving)
Method
- Rinse chickpeas thoroughly
- Place chickpeas, tahini, lemon, garlic, spinach and salt into a food processer and blend.
- Serve topped with extra virgin olive oil and a sprinkle of white or black pepper. Delicious with Turkish bread.
