Everyone's favourite, so you may want to double or even triple the ingredients.


Ingredients (makes 1.5 cups)

  • 1 can chickpeas
  • 1 teaspoon tahini paste
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • handful baby salad spinach
  • good pinch salt
  • half teaspoon crushed garlic
  • a little bit extra virgin olive oil (to drizzle on top before serving)

Method

  1. Rinse chickpeas thoroughly
  2. Place chickpeas, tahini, lemon, garlic, spinach and salt into a food processer and blend.
  3. Serve topped with extra virgin olive oil and a sprinkle of white or black pepper. Delicious with Turkish bread.
